Be Nice to Spiders (1967) by Margaret Bloy Graham

Good early elementary book for a unit on spiders. Helen, the spider, makes the animals in the zoo happy by eating all the pesky flies she catches in her web, until the zookeepers decide to rid the place of all the cobwebs.
